JANUARY-FEBRUARY 2010
SUMMONS TO PRAYER AND STATE OF THE STATE:
The combined District Prayer meeting on Friday night was such a blessed time. It seemed to bless all who attended. Next year we thought we would have all the District Ministers their wives and children come. So much can be accomplished through combined prayer.
Thanks to all who attended the State of the State address on Saturday? Many called and expressed that they wanted to be there but could not for various reason beyond their control. We launched a vision to Reach 10 in 2010. Ten new churches in our State, ten new daughter works established, ten new families in each church and each member of the local churches making an effort to win ten new people to their local church this year. Let’s all work together to see this attainable goal to be reached this year.

PASSING OF BROTHER MARVIN SANDERS:
I attended the going home service for Brother Sanders. He was always such a faithful and deligent man in the work of the Lord. He did a commendable work in the city of Orangeburg.
He also served on our District Board for seven years and was the program writer of our first District computer accounting program.
He and his dear wife Sister Jean Sanders helped untiringly with the work at our camp meetings in Lake City. He certainly will be missed by all of us. Please pray for Sister Sanders during this great transition in her life.
District Web Site:
Brother Gleason has done a superb job in keeping the District Web site up and running. I invite you to visit the site for the District calendar of events along with other things pertinent to the District. You can even get the District Directory along with the capability of printing labels directly from the site.
